reponse one - in the works..

Section one pretty much consists of a setting and introduction to the main charachters.

"The last of the crazy people", who are the crazy people? Hooker, is confused, and continues to keep to himself and his cats. Finds what comfort he can in his solitude with his animals or the time he spends with Iris.

His entire family seems to be the crazy people the title must be referring to, or are they? Could Hooker be the end of the crazy people? As he attempts so slip further and further away from the sting in reality, can he enter a fastasy where he goes mad? Solitude gets the best of him and consumes his feelings and confusion. Are his family members crazy, or are they driving him crazy?

How do crazy people come to an end?
Or do the 'idea' of crazy people come to an end? What makes someone crazy? What they believe, how their mind deals with things?

Is being 'crazy' help hooker's mind deal with his dysfunctional family? If he accepts that he is crazy, does it make it easier for him to accept that his family doesn't care much for him? He can blame the behaviour on his crazy mind.
